Victory in the Pacific March Program
March 8 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Experience the sights and sounds of World War II in the Pacific like only the National Museum of the Pacific War can bring you.
Our newly imagined “Victory in the Pacific” programs will take you through the last year of the war in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the end of World War II. Experience a new show with different monologues and insights of what it was like to be a part of World War II in 1945.
The March program is focusing on commemorating the battle of Iwo Jima. This battle will feature mostly Marine forces and dialogue will emphasize how we achieved victory in the Pacific at places like Iwo Jima, why this battle was so vital to the Allied Forces, the legacy this battle started because of the iconic photograph and how it helped the 7th and final war bond drive and more!
